Annie's haircut

Annie got a haircut! And Emma has noticed... All morning long she has been shouting "Daw" and pointing to her.

Here Emma is trying to get Annie out of her "home" to play. She has actually figured out how to open the door so we've had to attach a carabeaner (sp?) as an extra latch.

As many of you know, I do not have a green thumb. But, I just had to show off my hydrangeas. The are so pretty!
Here's Emma by her favorite flowers...

It's all about perspective

In a tiny little voice, "Hi Daddy!"

In a big manly voice, "Hi Emma!"

And the other dog

In the midst of the sadness with Bailey, Annie has managed to still keep us entertained...well actually, Emma's interaction with Annie has entertained us. One of Emma's new favorite games is to drop small items into Annie "home." We've found stuffed animals, socks, and pieces of paper to name a few. Here are a few pictures of her dropping my credit cards into her crate. My camera was out of batteries so I had to take the pics with my phone...sorry about the poorer quality.

Going back for more.

Annie trying to survive the bombardment. I ended up having to stop Emma's little game after Annie started to chew up my credit cards. And to my husband, I don't think you can see the credit card numbers from these pictures because of the poor resolution... ;)

Bailey

Sorry that it's been a while since I've blogged. We've had a bit of a hard week this week so I've been a little blah. After realizing that Bailey has become too aggressive for Emma's safety and not being able to find a suitable home that could handle Bailey's old dog issues (mainly her constant vomiting), we decided to put her down. Talk about an awful decision to make! So on Monday, our beloved dog was put to sleep. I have been so surprised about how sad I've felt and how much I have actually cried over a silly dog. But honestly, we have been in mourning over our little companion and the loss she has left. Even Annie has been mourning, although it took her a day or two to realize that she was gone. So sad! Here is the last picture of Bailey taken with my cell phone camera.

And here's Emma taking over Bailey's perch at the front door.

Emma's art

Emma's an artist!!! She has started coloring!

What?! You don't see it?! Okay, here's a close up. You have to admit, she's definitely going to be the next Michelangelo. Please don't hate us because of our kid's enormous talent. We promise to still talk with you when she makes it big. ;)
