I still have other pictures to post, but Emma's preschool teacher sent this to me today. It's too funny not to post. Looks like she's having a bunch of fun in school!

I have some pictures to post, but until then I thought I would give you a few more of Emma's why questions. These were all asked within the last five minutes.

Why food go in my belly?

Why do persons dry? (versus staying wet all the time)

Why me not have three eyes?

I feel like I need a PhD in three year olds to keep up with these questions.

Walt Disney World

We went to Walt Disney World with Dad, Connie, and Adam's family. I've uploaded a few pictures for your viewing enjoyment. Here Emma is enjoying the Aladdin ride.

Noey and me getting ready for the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.

Emma decided we were moving too slow and took things into her own hands.

Emma and me on the Dumbo ride. Check out the Mickey ears.

Everyone wanted to be with Uncle Timmy.

Emma's first rollercoaster ride. Panic turned to pure joy.

Negotiating 101

Emma has found the art of negotiating. A typical conversation goes something like this:

Emma: Can I have another cookie?
Me: No, you've already had one.
Emma: Pweeeese!!!
Me: You're fine.
Emma: Just one more.
Me: No Emma.
Emma: That one be my last one.
Me: Still no Emma.

But recently she's has become more clever with her negotiating. Here are a series of her tactics.

Emma: Mommy, can I watch a movie?
Me: No, you've watched enough TV today.
Emma: If I watch a movie it will help with my diarrhea (she had a loose stool that morning...I know, TMI).

Emma: Can I have a marshmallow?
Me: You don't need a marshmallow.
Emma: If I have a marshmallow, I be healthier.

In response to me clapping,
Emma: Mommy why are you clapping?
Me: I'm clapping along with the song.
Emma: Stop it. The clapping is hurting my tummy.

Snow!

We got snow! We woke up Saturday morning with this much snow and by the end of the day we had another 1/2 inch of sleet on top of that. Added to the layer of ice under the snow because of the high temps the day before, it ended up being pretty nasty. The whole state shut down and was under a state of emergency for 2 1/2 days. Still fun though. We took Emma out sledding. We had to improvise because of the lack of snow gear and turned Emma's baby swimming pool into our "sled." And her rain boots had to serve as her snow boots. :)

Emma sledding with her friend in our baby swimming pool.

Emma drew this picture in her preschool class and I love it. She called it "Person." The eyes, nose, mouth are pretty obvious. The long line above the eyes are the eye brows and the short line on the upper right is the hair. Cute, huh?

Getting ready to go outside. She wanted to wear her sun goggles.
