So Bailey has taken a very nurturing role with Emma. She has been torn between watching over mom or Emma and I often find her at night sleeping in the hall in between the bedrooms. When I took this picture I hadn't seen Bailey in a while and went looking for her; she was "guarding" Emma while Emma slept. Bailey will often find me when Emma is crying to make sure I know and has a couple times growled at me for not getting to Emma sooner. We have also seen her bring her toys (mainly her rope) to Emma when she is crying to (what we think is) calm her down. Annie, on the other hand, just wants to lick Emma to death which of course we don't let her do (for the benefit of all the moms that are reading this).
