Tim and I have begun volunteering with a Young Life group called
Capernaum that targets
highschoolers and young adults with disabilities. This past Saturday we had two of the members (Marcy and Luke) over for a mini-party along with our friends Elizabeth and Jeff. Both Marcy and Luke LOVED our dogs (yes, even Annie) and Luke
in particular fell in love with Emma. Luke was incredibly gentle and sweet with her, and was so drawn to her that it brought me to tears. It was amazing to watch and see the purity and
genuineness with both of our new friends, Luke and Marcy.

What a wonderful thing you are doing T. Sharing your time, your family and your home with your new friends. I can tell the girls [dogs] really warmed up to them. I think they can sense the gentleness. I love you! Connie
Oh how cool. I'll have to call you and ask you about this... I LOVE Young Life! My mom did a lot with them and I have relatives who are active Young Lifers... awesome!
