Credit Cards and More

Well, we had some pictures of Emma playing with the credit cards from my wallet on the blog for about half the day today. But then we realized that you could actually see the numbers on the credit cards.....and so, in the name of identity theft prevention, you'll just have to imagine cute little Emma playing with my wallet. :)

So some of you may have heard about the woes of our dog Bailey. She has become very jealous of Emma, so much so that we are having to give Bailey away since she's become aggressive towards Emma. Very sad. And I think Bailey knows about her immanent move and has become even more miffed at Emma...today I found her carrying around Emma's prized Dolly by her head.

King and Queens Dance

This past week I've been busy helping plan a dance for Reality Ministries, a local ministry that serves young adults with disabilities. The dance was this past Friday and it turned out just great. I thought I would post a few pics for you all to see what we were up to. The first few were taken by a professional photographer who volunteered to take "prom" style pictures of all our friends for free.

The ministry's events are set up to have a one-on-one buddy system for our friends with disabilities. Tim's buddy for the past year has been Preston, to the right of him in this picture. My wonderful friend Elizabeth's husband, Jeff, is to the far right with his buddy Tyler next to him. Jeff was also one of the emcees for the night, thus the white tux. :)

Tim should have watched me for some pointers. :) My buddy Marcy is to the far right. She wore one of her bridesmaid's dresses and like most of the girls, was dressed to the nines. (Yes, I am wearing a crown. After all, the theme was Kings and Queens.)

Emma's new love...

Emma has a new love. I mean, just look at the anguish on her face. And it's no longer Baby Einstein. It's not Annie. No, it's not even her Daddy. It's....

Viewing the Blog

We've started showing Emma her blog and discovered she loves looking at enlarged pictures of herself. It's really cute....she just giggles and giggles.

Playing with Annie

Emma's finally getting big enough to play with Annie (or maybe Annie is just getting calmer...ha, now that's funny). She actually will throw the ball to Annie (about 1 foot) and Annie will give it back to her. It's cute.

But, to Emma's angst, playing with Annie also involves many dog kisses.






Ahhh, sweet respite.








Emma has just realized that I have the camera out and she is on her regular mission to claim it as her own.
