King and Queens Dance

This past week I've been busy helping plan a dance for Reality Ministries, a local ministry that serves young adults with disabilities. The dance was this past Friday and it turned out just great. I thought I would post a few pics for you all to see what we were up to. The first few were taken by a professional photographer who volunteered to take "prom" style pictures of all our friends for free.

The ministry's events are set up to have a one-on-one buddy system for our friends with disabilities. Tim's buddy for the past year has been Preston, to the right of him in this picture. My wonderful friend Elizabeth's husband, Jeff, is to the far right with his buddy Tyler next to him. Jeff was also one of the emcees for the night, thus the white tux. :)

The boys hammin' it up.

Tim's attempt at bustin' a move...

Tim should have watched me for some pointers. :) My buddy Marcy is to the far right. She wore one of her bridesmaid's dresses and like most of the girls, was dressed to the nines. (Yes, I am wearing a crown. After all, the theme was Kings and Queens.)

Woohoo, you hottie in HOT PINK! Love the crown, Tara. Love your moves as well. Yes, maybe you should give Tim a few pointers... great pics. You guys have me laughing out loud! How cool that you are able to bless your buddies that way. I'll bet they loved it! Such a neat ministry!!!
